Lecker's Beef Sausage Italian Style

Serves 2

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon olive oil
6 medium size potatoes (peeled and chopped gratin style)
1/2 cup of cream
pinch of salt
pinch of pepper
1/2 cup grated cheese
1/3 cup parmesan cheese (powder)
1/3 cup breadcrumbs

Method

Pre heat oven to 200 degrees.
Chop potatoes into thin slices, place into a greased gratin oven tray.
Add cream all over, sprinkle cheeses, top with the breadcrumb and place in the oven covered with tin foil for 20 minutes.

Remove tin foil and allow to crisp up and create a crunchy top.
Meanwhile add oil to a medium heated pan, add the sausages.
Never pierce the sausages and sautee at medium heat, not too high, otherwise the casing will burst.
Allow to rest for 4 minutes, then serve with the potatoes.

Add some crispy spinach leaves on the side for a bit of crunch.Enjoy.
